The Pet Portrait Awards was founded by top photographers in the UK to offer high quality Pet Photography

and prestigious awards while raising donations for worth while pet charities in the UK.

 

The 2016 Pet Portrait Awards catagory is centered around 'Man's Best Friend' so if you think your dog has what it takes please fill in the form below.

 

'The 2016 Pet portrait of the year'

 

To enter the competition you will be asked to donate £10 which will all go to DogsTrust. By donating to this very worth while cause you will be entitled to a Free Portrait session with your chosen photographer, A private viewing session to select your image to be entered into the awards. 

You will have a chance to win one of three prizes from your photographers studio plus the 1st place studio winner will then be entered into the Pet Portrait Awards for a chance to win the grand prize and title of Pet Portrait of the Year.

 


 

PET PORTRAIT AWARD RULES:
- Minimum £10 donation for the 1st dog then £5 per additional dog/s.

 - Judges decision is final and winners will be notified via text, email or telephone.
- Studio Awards winners will be announced 15th October 2016
- Annual Pet Portrait Award winner will be announced 22nd October 2016
- Due to the high number of sessions please arrive at the studio 5 mins before your alloted time slot. If you are late you may be asked to return at a later date.
- All images are copyright protected and all photographers reserve the right to use the images for advertising and Pet Portrait Awards promotions.
- Cancellation of your appointment with less than 24hrs notice may incur a small rebooking fee of £15 to cover part payment of additional studio time.
- Winning entrants will be asked to return to the studio to collect their prize and may be asked to have a photograph taken accepting their prize. 
- Entrants must attend a viewing session a few days after their portrait session to view and choose their image to be entered. A £25 returnable deposit may be requested.
- Your Pet Portrait Session may include family members but the image for the competition must only include their dog/s.
- At the viewing session there will be the opportunity to purchase additional prints and products. This will be the only opportunity to purchase from the session.

 


 

1st Round - Studio Pet Portrait 

Once your Pet Portrait session has finished you will be invited back to view your photographs and select the image to be entered into the studio awards.
Your chosen image will be judged by top Professional Photographers around the UK and the top three images from each studio will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. 

 

2nd Round - 2016 Annual Pet Portrait Of the Year Award

1st Prize winners from each studio will be entered into the 2016 Pet Portrait of the Year award.
All the entries will be judged by Dogs Trust.
The 2016 Pet Portrait award Grand Prize Winner will receive £1000 and there will also be runner up prizes.
Winners will be announced 22nd October 2016
Closing date for entries 1st October 2016

2016's Pet Portraits Charity of the Year is the 'Dogs Trust'. This fantastic charity does amazing work with dogs in the Uk.
